By accessing or using Proofprint (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Proofprint is operated by Adam Miller (“we”, “us”).
Proofprint is currently in active development and private preview. The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no guarantees about uptime, data persistence, feature availability, or service continuity. Features may change, be removed, or break without prior notice. We may need to reset databases, change APIs, or modify the architecture as the product evolves.
By using the Service during this period, you acknowledge that you are an early tester and that your experience may not reflect the final product.
You retain full ownership of all content you create on Proofprint. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your writing, manuscripts, posts, or other creative work.
Your unpublished content is encrypted end-to-end and cannot be read by Proofprint. When you choose to publish content, you grant Proofprint a limited license to store and display that plaintext content for the purpose of making it publicly accessible via the verification and reading pages. This license is revocable — you can unpublish at any time.
You are responsible for maintaining your own copies of important content. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee against data loss during this development phase.
Proofprint generates human authorship verification scores based on behavioral signals observed during writing sessions. These scores represent our best assessment using current algorithms, but they are not infallible. A high score indicates patterns consistent with human writing; it is not a legal certification or guarantee of authorship. Scores and algorithms may change as we improve the system.
You agree not to use Proofprint to: attempt to manipulate or game the verification scoring system; misrepresent AI-generated content as human-authored; use the Service for any illegal purpose; or interfere with the operation of the Service or other users' access to it.
Access to Proofprint is currently by invitation only. We reserve the right to grant, revoke, or modify access at our discretion. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proofprint and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, content, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (currently $0, as the Service is free during preview).
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be communicated to registered users via email.
